What is data center colocation?
Colocation means hosting your own servers in our datacenter instead of a server room at your office. You keep your hardware. We provide what keeps it running without interruption: rack space, redundant power, cooling, connectivity and 24/7 physical security.
How does server colocation work?
You reserve space measured in U: 1U for a single server, up to a full 42U rack or several racks. We deliver guaranteed power, a 10G port (100G optional) and our teams to rack your hardware and handle interventions (Remote Hands). You install and manage your machines, we operate the datacenter that hosts them. The contractual SLA ranges from 99.95% to 99.99986% depending on the power design, and measured uptime is 99.999% across all our sites.
Colocation or cloud?
Cloud is pay-as-you-go: handy when load scales up and down. As soon as your needs are stable (databases, storage, compute, steady traffic), the cloud bill quickly passes the cost of a rack. With colocation you amortise your own hardware, you know what you pay each month, and your data stays in France.
